About Sweet Habanero
Scotty B’s Sweet Habanero Gourmet Sweet & Hot sauce was created with the same recipe as our 5 time award winning Sweet Jalapeno Heat. With a demand for the same great taste and more heat, Scotty B decided not to reinvent the wheel, but rather replace the Jalapeno peppers with Habanero peppers. As expected the combination was a sweet heat delight and enjoyed by all the sweet heat seekers who tried it.
The major difference between the Habanero pepper and the Jalapeno pepper is the elevated heat level. As all of the “heat heads” know, the heat level of peppers is measured in scoville units. The average jalapeno pepper is between 2,500-8,000 scoville units where as the average habanero pepper is between 100,000-350,000 scoville units.
Sweet Habanero was not originally going to be a part of our first production run in California; however, after receiving several requests for this particular gourmet sauce we changed our minds. Throw a party for your taste buds and order a bottle of Sweet Habanero Gourmet Sweet and Hot sauce today.
